The fabric comes first here. Polyester and spandex, knitted for four-way stretch, is why this short bends with a deep squat instead of pulling at the waist, and why it springs back rather than bagging out by week three.
Bean Green supplies the character: a soft, earthy green that looks expensive next to cream or stone, and calm next to black. It is an easy colour to wear outside the gym as well as in it.
The waist sits high and is adjustable, compression runs through the leg for a supported feel, and the hem finishes above the knee. The surface breathes and moves moisture away from the skin, which counts for a lot in a Gulf summer. Pick from S, M, L and XL.
